Fog Blog

Yes, here comes the fog rolling in again.....

Nova Scotia's most persistent spell of fog occurred during Canada's centennial in 1967 at Yarmouth, when over the 92 days of summer, 85 had an occurrence of 1 or more hours with fog.

That's the same summer my 52 year old Grampie Rodgerson dissappeared at sea with an 18 year old man named Harvey Muise. They were on the Durward II . Never to be heard or seen again. No debris ever found. They had anchored 100 feet from another boat , & spoke to them through the fog before settling in for the night. End of story.
