Looking for Potassium?

Here are some foods that have more potassium than the banana, which is known to have potassium.
  • clams 120grams
  • beet greens
  • yellowfin tuna
  • halibut
  • pacific cod
  • swiss chard
  • acorn squash
  • sweet potato with skin 1/2 cup
  • lima beans
  • wild coho salmon
The cup of orange juice, 120g of farmed Atlantic salmon, and a 1/2 cup cooked spinach have the same amount of potassium as the banana.
 9% of the recommended daily intake according to the US institute of medicine.
