Nicole dEntremont is a writer and teacher with deep ancestral roots in French Canada. She holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education from The University of Southern Maine. For the past thirty years she has taught writing to students from Maine to California. She lives on Peaks Island, Maine and in Nova Scotia. A Generation of Leaves is her latest novel.
A Generation of Leaves tells the story of two Acadian brothers who leave Pubnico in 1915 and enlist in the Canadian Expeditionart Force during WW1 .One brother comes home from the war and one does not. The novel tells the story in English with occasional flashes of français acadien .
