 People can bring their bicycle to the Yarmouth Farmer’s Market from 8:00 to 1:00 on Saturday June 7. Danny Manser (owner of Manser’s Bike Shop) will be there to provide a FREE bicycle check and tune up.
 Also at the market Yarmouth County Active Transportation will have a table to promote WWF 2014 events happening in Yarmouth and Argyle and lots more information on other Active Transportation initiatives in the area.9 a.m. Bike rodeo at Central School, hosted by Town RCMP and Yarmouth Recreation. The purposes of the bike rodeo are education and safety; to teach children how to safely cycle, proper hand signals and how a helmet should fit. A bike check will also be done for every bike to make sure it is safe, and basic skills will be included.

12:15 noon walk starting at Royal Bank RBC

6 p.m. Bike ride starting at Tim Hortons (Water St)

6 to 7 p.m. Kayaking, ages 13 and over at Glenwood Park (ltd. number of kayaks, register early) Argyle Recreation 902-648-3379

6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Bike ride around Tusket and Abram’s River for adult bikers, starting at the Old Marco’s Restaurant (next to Tusket Ultramar). Hosted by the Over 40 Women bike club. Contact Charlene LeBlanc or Argyle Recreation Dept. at 902-648-3379
