Habits and Willpower
Studies shows, take 66 days for discipline to turn something into a habit. Not 21 days as originally thought. That makes me feel better.
And the discipline to form the new habit, is a lot harder than maintaining it.
I read this in a book called "The One Thing".
The other interesting fact is that willpower is like a cell phone battery. It can run out during the day if you use it alot. Our brain just drains it !
It can be recharged however, with rest and a good snack.
To save willpower battery life, we should do the tasks, and make the decisions that are the hardest, early in the day.
